Self-clinching standoffs are used for elevation and spacing in sheet metal working.
When compressing the connection element in place, the hexagon head sinks into the sheet metal shaping the material into the thread underneath, ensuring a secure joint.
There is a large selection of dimensions and models for self-clinch standoffs. Standoffs are available as threaded, unthreaded, open (through hole), and closed (blind) models.
