Zinc flake coatings are chromium (VI)-free corrosion protection coatings for the production of commercial vehicles, construction machines, agricultural vehicles and machines, and other applications where corrosion protection is required during vehicle manufacturing.
The corrosion resistance of ZFSHL is:
- Diameter ≥ M6 - 480 h*
- Diameter ≥ M10 - 720 h*
- * Reference values: No base metal corrosion in threadless parts in salt-spray tests as per DIN EN ISO 9227 NSS.
The ZFSHL marking refers to the following anti-corrosion coating:
- Zinc flake coating, as a surface coating a silver-coloured coating with friction-regulating lubrication.
- The surface coat with lubrication flakes has a friction coefficient range of 0.09-0.14 μ
ISO 4762 replaces DIN 912 | There is some similarity | Nominal dimension ranges changed | Fine thread moved to standard ISO 12474.
