ABB PSR – A compact soft starter that makes motor start-up controlled
ABB’s PSR series soft starters offer a reliable and cost-effective solution for motor soft start-up. Thanks to the 2-phase control, the start-up current and mechanical stress are significantly reduced – extending the motor’s service life.
Efficient 2-phase control: The motor starts in a controlled manner via two mains phases, which reduces vibration and protects the equipment.
Integrated bypass contactor. After start-up, the current is controlled directly, which improves energy efficiency and reduces heat generation.
Easy installation and commissioning: DIN rail mounting and clear adjustment potentiometers make installation fast and effortless.
Compact and space-saving design: Perfect for small distribution boards and simple applications such as pumps and fans.
