With the help of OSRAM SubstiTUBE T5 AC LED tubes, you can forget ballast compatibility and skip ballasts altogether. AC-type T5 LED tubes must be connected to direct mains voltage of 230 V. The product line includes a LED replacement for all traditional T5 fluorescent tubes and they are available with a colour temperature of 3000 K, 4000 K and 6500 K. T5 LED tubes are made of glass and are shatter protected (PET surface coating).
