AUS74.2 is a front-mounted apparatus box with a telescopic base for 1-3 plasterboard walls (wall thickness 9 - 39 mm). Due to the telescopic base, the box’s height is 54 - 70 mm. Mounting hole diameter Ø 73-74 mm (normal box drill). On the side of the bottom part of the box (top side) there is one grommet intended for Ø 20 mm flexible plastic pipe, one grommet intended for MMJ (Ø 8-13 mm) / Ø 20 mm flexible plastic pipe. On the side (bottom side) of the bottom part of the box, one grommet for a Ø 16 mm flexible plastic pipe and two grommets equipped with strain relief for the installation of MMJ cables (Ø 8-13 mm). Two grommets equipped with strain relief on the bottom for the installation of MMJ cables (Ø 8-13 mm). In addition, two grommets for low current cables. The boxes can be connected to each other with the fixing grooves on each side of the box (c/c 71 mm). There is also an knock-outs on each side, through which a route for the conductors from one box to another can also be obtained in box combinations. The box has two screw post blanks on each side for the fixing screws of the device. When making combinations of boxes, the hole at the bottom can be used to mark the centers of the boxes. The box has two mounting knock-outs for diagonal screws, which can be used to attach the box to e.g. a log wall or to a wooden wall frame. The protection class of the box is IP3X. Made of halogen-free material (IEC/61249-2-21) and fulfills the requirements of the glow wire test according to the IEC/EN60670 standard: 2005 (850 °C).
