Metal cable and pipe supports are made of stainless V2A steel, galvanised or hot-dip galvanised steel, or aluminium. For their ease of installation and good mechanical strength and load-bearing capacity in the event of a fire, they are partially approved as alternative supports for cable installation fire resistance as per DIN 4102-12.
