Borehole for the box is 86 mm; boring can be done with a hole-saw – no finishing should be done on the hole thereafter. Box can be mounted in the middle of the borehole. The box contains two screw-posts with a distance of c/c 70mm (for M4 screws), with which all normal ceiling-lids are compatible (including those based on the DCL standard). The green extension-ring delivered along with the box can be used in a single-plate ceiling (12.5 mm); the extension-ring is to be removed if the ceiling is two-plate (2 x 12.5 mm). If the plates are 15 mm in thickness, a red adapter-ring should be used as well – in one position, the ring's elevation is 2.5 mm (one 15 mm plate), and in the other position, it is 5 mm (2 x 15 mm plate). The box contains one opened fixation-stub for 16/20 mm pipe, 8 fixation-stubs in all. An AU67.70 lid is delivered with the box. Made of halogen-free materials (IEC/61249-2-21) and meets filament test requirements as per IEC/EN60670: 2005 (850 °C).
