ABB F 200 series residual current devices operate with both alternating and pulsating direct current (type A). They are aperiodic short-circuit proof up to 250 A. ABB residual current devices are overvoltage protected; they are not sensitive to momentary current spikes. Such may occur, e.g., when mounting linear fluorescent lamps, X-ray generators, IT systems, and thyristor regulators. Auxiliary/alarm connector use possible.
