Type A residual current circuit breakers with AutoTest function are designed for applications where it is not possible or desirable to disconnect the power supply during a device function test. The automatic test function ensures the regular operation of the residual current device without interruption.
The AutoTest function improves operational safety and reduces maintenance and personnel costs, especially in applications where there are many residual current devices or they are located in difficult to reach places. The solution is particularly suitable for protecting the power supply of critical systems.
Typical applications include shopping malls, hospitals, rail and rubber-wheeled transport systems, telecom and communication systems, signage and other applications where continuity of power supply is essential.
